Genre: Erotica/Romance
Synopsis:
Three’s company? No, three’s a charm! Three of Hearts features sexy trios who are not just falling into bed, they’re falling (or have already fallen) in love. These stories explore the threesome dynamic emotionally as well as sexually. Whether it’s a couple introducing a third person to their relationship for just one night of fun or for a lifetime commitment, or a woman torn between two lovers who decides not to choose, the focus of this collection of sexy stories is entirely on female pleasure.
Ya know what I love about a good anthology like Three of Hearts? I love that I discover new authors, and now I have more books to add to my TBR list. I started this book because of Tiffany Reisz. I kept reading because all of these stories are so, so good.
There is something for everyone here. Older man (men) fantasy? Check. Polyamorous marriage? Check. Your ex-girlfriend and your current boyfriend? Got that too. You’re in love with the two guys across the hall and they’re in love with you and each other? Yup, it’s here. By the by, that one – “Medley of Desire” by A.J. Lyle, might be my favorite.
Three of Hearts also does a fantastic job of navigating the emotions involved in threesomes. The trust issues, insecurities. The power dynamics, even. And what they all do so well, no matter the circumstance, is focus on the main characters pleasure and happiness, without it skewing toward seeming selfish. Everyone’s happy in the end, but the main character never has to sacrifice her own in the process.
