It may be the most wonderful time of the year, so the song says, but it’s the absolute worst for traveling. Who else is hopping on a plane, train, or bus to see family soon? I’ll be on my way to Miami in a few days. While I have no problems usually with the airlines provided in-flight entertainment, I figure why not whip out a few books and provide my own (ebooks, of course, for travel convenience). So, here’s what I’m bringing on my holiday travels.
Harlequin ebook bundles, holiday editions – In case you haven’t noticed, I’m on a mission to read as many Christmas-themed romances as possible. Currently, I’m in the middle of the Harlequin’s December 2014 boxed set, which includes stories from Farrah Rochon and Lisa Marie Perry. Each is relatively short, sweet, and perfect to get you in the mood for holiday cheer with the fam.
Outlander Coloring Book – Obviously not an ebook, but a cool and relaxing activity if you’re a nervous flyer. Challenge yourself to stay inside the lines during turbulence.
Tiffany Reisz’s Annual Original Sinners Christmas story – Short flight? Most major airlines have in-flight wifi these days. Use it to read this year’s (free) Christmas story Poinsettia, posted on her website. And then read all the others Tiffany has gifted us with, if you have the time.
