So what if I haven’t finished a series in over 2 years? I still want to read all of the books that are part of a series (more on that later). And I may be only half-joking about wanting to read Irish Farmers, like with any playboy magazine: “I’m only reading it for the articles.” 😛
The difficult part about making an anticipated books list is that the books only showcase about half the year 2016. I’m sure next winter there will be other great titles to look out for. Check our weekly #FridayReads series to see more on that. Looks like this year is shaping up to be pretty entertaining.
Irish Farmers by Ciara Ryan
The Mortal Tally (Bring Down Heaven #2) by Sam Sykes
City of Blades (Divine Cities #2) by Robert Jackson Bennett
Morning Star (Red Rising #3) by Pierce Brown
Fate of the Tearling (Invasion of the Tearling #3) by Erika Johansen
Hunger by Roxane Gay
Sweet Little Lies by Jill Shalvis
The Cold Between by Elizabeth Bonesteel
Solutions and Other Problems by Allie Brosh
The Obelisk Gate (Broken Earth #2) by N.K. Jemisin
This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab

I’m starting a New Year’s resolution. One that I’ve been doing anyway, but I’m making it official now. No more TBR pile. Wait, that’s not quite what I mean. I just mean, I’m no longer adding books to it. If you look at my To-Read list on Goodreads, there are hundreds of books that I might never get to ever. I’m not even sure I actually want to read some of them. And then there are tons of books that I do read that never make that list. Looking at all those titles is now overwhelming rather than a fun challenge. These books are sure bets, though. And a few on Heather’s list too.
Midnight Taxi Tango by Daniel José Older
The Bourbon Thief by Tiffany Reisz
Feverborn by Karen Marie Moning
Nobody But You (Cedar Ridge #3) by Jill Shalvis
A Gentleman’s Position (Society of Gentlemen, #3) by K.J. Charles
Fatal Identity (Fatal #10) by Marie Force
